Macsbay — mobile retail and instalment platform

Instalment contracts were filled in by hand, payment schedules were calculated in Excel and customer reliability was judged by gut feeling.

We wrote a custom instalment engine that weighs the down payment, term, markup coefficient and customer scoring: it builds the schedule automatically, issues the contract as a PDF and tracks overdue payments, while Click accepts the monthly instalments online.

Issuing an instalment plan dropped from forty minutes to three and overdue payments fell sharply.
